She strives to explore different ways of teaching so that students can learn deeply and grow their knowledge. She likes to develop innovative classes that expand students’ skills to new places.
“It is important to me to create a welcoming space so we have a comfortable place to explore, learn, and enjoy being a beginner. My passion is to build a healing community in every class and create opportunities to continue that community after class ends. I love teaching and I love the puzzle of figuring out how students can learn best. My goal is to teach with warmth — and maybe most importantly —a sense of humor.”
